Nireko Sketch

Nireko, 28, has been working part-time at Kiyota’s umbrella workshop for three years. She has harbored feelings for Kiyota for over two decades, though he is now married. With no stable position at the workshop, she feels uncertain about both her career and personal life. She is then unexpectedly asked to take charge of her family’s brush shop, which she finds unexciting. As the youngest of three daughters, she begins an apprenticeship to learn the craft of making artisan brushes. The story includes three additional chapters.
