Nobunaga the Fool

Two planets, the Western and the Eastern, were once connected by the "Dragon Pulse." A once-thriving civilization has faded into legend due to ongoing war. Conflict continues between the planets. A powerful technology called "sacred treasures" may change the world, but only one person knows about them—a "heretical girl." Jeanne Kaguya d'Arc, from the Western Planet, receives visions of a "Star Messiah" destined to save the world. She travels to the Eastern Planet with Leonardo da Vinci, who studies the world. There, they meet Oda Nobunaga, a heretic known as "the greatest fool of the day." The story shifts significantly from the anime in later volumes.
