Noise

A village struggling with depopulation sees a temporary economic boost when a local farmer, Keita, develops a new type of fig that gains attention from an online influencer. The publicity brings renewed hope for the village, including the possibility of reopening the local school, which Keita hopes will persuade his wife to return with their daughter. This fragile optimism is disrupted by the arrival of an outsider named Suzuki Mutsuo, who appears to be looking for work. Keita is suspicious of Suzuki's behavior, and his concerns are validated when a friend reveals that Suzuki was recently released from prison after being convicted of harassment and murder.
