Noraneko to Yubikiri

Ayato is a part-time worker living alone, dealing with the challenges of an unforgiving environment. When his mother unexpectedly leaves, she entrusts Ayato with caring for his young sister. Seeking assistance from the city to place his sister in daycare, Ayato meets Haruna, a dedicated and serious government employee. Without understanding his situation, Haruna criticizes him, comparing him unfavorably to stray cats. Ayato reacts defensively, questioning her understanding of his life. Over time, the two individuals, both struggling with past hardships, begin to support and understand each other. Their relationship deepens as they confront their personal challenges. The question remains: what commitment will they make to one another, and can they truly rely on each other?
