Nüshen Yangcheng Jihua

Two girls face hardship in their early lives. Ah-Jiu, the daughter of a concubine, suffers from poor health and a difficult upbringing but remains kind and personable. Xiao Yang endures the devastation of her village due to war, yet clings to hope for the future.
