A young Bargello lives in the town of Valore, spending time with his friends. He unexpectedly rescues a girl fleeing from the witch Herminia. The girl wears a ring thought to possess strange powers. Following the rescue, Bargello and his companions discover that their lives have become entangled with Herminia.
