Kim Moojin's role involved assisting supernatural entities called "vagrants" during their missions and handling the aftermath of their actions. During a conflict between these beings, he is killed, only to awaken in 2002, a time of his personal prime. While initially pleased to experience that period again, Moojin soon discovers he has been cursed by a demon. To lift the curse, he must collaborate with the very individuals he wished to stay away from—his former adversaries, the vagrants.
