Momoyo is the child of Yae and Genta, who, because of financial difficulties, send her to live with the Sakurakoujis as an adopted daughter. Her foster parents treat her kindly, and she appears content. However, her grandfather refuses to acknowledge her as family. While visiting, Momoyo meets her cousin Reiko, who tells her there is something hidden about her past.
