Okoshiyasu, Chitose-chan
おこしやす、ちとせちゃん
Chitose is a young Emperor penguin who explores Kyoto and its surroundings. The manga presents everyday scenes and local landmarks such as Togetsu-kyō bridge, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, and Kiyomizu-dera temple from the penguin's point of view. It also includes elements of Kyoto's food culture. The stories are brief and gentle in tone.
