Kei relies on weekly deliveries every Thursday to sustain her reclusive life, a result of past experiences that made social interaction difficult. After enduring sexual harassment at her former job, she now works remotely to avoid others. Her routine changes when Rinko, a new delivery worker with an upbeat and lively attitude, begins bringing her packages. As they spend more time together, Kei starts to develop an interest in Rinko.
