A man named Ryouta Asagiri accidentally enters a vampire nation that has recently declared independence from Japan. There, he encounters a young vampire girl named Shiren Fuyukura, who interrogates him and bites him before declaring him her "Minion." He learns that he cannot leave the country, known as the Sacred Blood Empire, and chooses to accept the girl's claim in order to remain.
