Omoi Komi wa Koi no Hajimari

Fuji works as a waiter in a restaurant and misinterprets his boss's expressions of delight with food as romantic interest, leading him to confess and offer to date them. The misunderstanding is clarified when the boss reveals they are already in a relationship. Distressed, Fuji nearly gets hit by a train while distracted, but is stopped by an older man named Shimizu, who mistakes his actions for a suicide attempt and reprimands him. The next day, Fuji runs into Shimizu again, who encourages him. Shimizu begins visiting Fuji's workplace, and their relationship grows closer. Fuji develops feelings for Shimizu, though it is unclear whether Shimizu sees him as more than a younger sibling.
