A soba maker named Mioh encounters a wounded man called Wolf, who is feared in underground circles as “Black Wolf.” Mioh takes him in, calling him “Fido,” and cares for him. Wolf finds comfort in Mioh’s unpredictable and gentle nature. Yet, Mioh’s identity extends beyond being a soba maker. The question remains whether their meeting was by chance or by design.
