Onaji Tsuki wo Miteiru

A young boy named Gen Minahiro, known as Don-chan, shares a close bond with his friend Tetsuya, often using his talent to read people's thoughts and express them through drawings. Their lives shift when they meet Mr. Coldman, a foreigner, and his ailing daughter Emi. The trio becomes friends, and under the moonlight, Don-chan vows to create a portrait of Emi each year on her birthday. One night, Gen flees from a reformatory, the moon the only witness. A significant and tragic event later alters the course of their lives.
