Onegai, Sensei

A compilation of three short narratives. In the first, a young woman, shaped by a past romantic disappointment, adopts a dismissive attitude toward relationships. She pursues affection readily but ends things as soon as it is reciprocated. Her new focus is a teacher at her cram school, and while she views the pursuit as a game, unexpected emotions begin to surface. In the second, a girl from the countryside forms a bond with a solitary boy from the city, who visits her every summer. When he suddenly stops coming, she writes to him but receives no response. In the third, a lifelong virgin experiences a chance encounter with a mysterious boy who appears daily at a specific location, claiming to be there because he loves it, though his true reason remains unclear.
