A phenomenon known as "dimensional gates" emerged over a century ago, introducing unexpected changes to Earth. These gates led to the rise of "hunters," individuals chosen by entities called "sponsors" to combat monsters. Over time, the hunters, believing themselves to be "gods," established a new world order named "Eden," subjugating those not chosen. In the present, Junkyung Lee, an ordinary person without powers, trains to become a hunter. During his training, he and his mentor, Sungkoo, are attacked by Eden's ruler. As Sungkoo is dying, he sends Junkyung back a hundred years with the mission to alter history and reshape society.
