After Tanami Riku's father died in a traffic accident, he was left without family. A man named Onikubo Nagi appeared and insisted on becoming Riku's guardian, as Riku's father had previously been Nagi's teacher. Nagi also took a position as Riku's homeroom teacher, entering his life abruptly and without consent. His presence made life difficult for Riku, as Nagi enforced a strict and seemingly cruel approach. The situation raised questions about Nagi's true intentions toward Riku.
