Onsa no Hibiki

A sixth-grade boy named Junki, who is shy and struggling to fit in at his new school, searches for his missing cat and meets Eto, a classmate who appears to live on the streets and views each day as an adventure. The two boys, who are very different, go through various experiences that highlight both the harshness of life and its quiet, natural beauty. A 2017 reprint includes an additional side story not present in the original version, and two more side stories are featured in the author's short story collection *Henkyo de*.
