A boy named Nanasei lives in Semba, Osaka, during 1921, a time of temporary peace in the Taisho Era. After losing his parents, he struggles to show his emotions. One day, he receives a letter from Italy. The story is presented as a Kansai author's account of a sincere-hearted boy from the Taisho period experiencing life in Italy.
