A tailor shop exists between life and death, crafting the final outfit a person chooses to wear before passing on. Lee, upon awakening, begins an apprenticeship at this shop, where he meets a variety of characters, including Johnny, Maki, Fujita, Isao, and Mr. Matsuda. As he works, Lee learns about the lives of those who visit the shop through the choices they make regarding their last outfit. Over time, he begins to reflect on what he himself has truly wanted to do in his life.
