Suzuno lacks a clear sense of identity and tries daily to present herself as the perfect woman. At her stationery company job, she manages to appear competent despite this. Her coworker Watarai, who seems charming and noble, discovers her true nature. When alone together, Suzuno learns that Watarai is not as princely as he appears. She also confesses to him that she is supporting her parents' debt. The next morning, she wakes up in her bed to find Watarai, completely naked, sleeping beside her.
