Mankichi Akira works at a large IT company and is successful both professionally and socially, but his family consists of his mother, an older sister, and two younger sisters, all of whom are unemployed. His childhood friend Minayo has recently moved in with them. Mankichi aims to help his family achieve independence and is also interested in pursuing a relationship with Minayo.
