Ore no Class ni Haruhi wa Inai

Yuu is aware of Haruhi’s well-known declaration about only being interested in aliens, time-travelers, or espers. He finds this line and the chaotic, extraordinary lifestyle associated with Haruhi to be excessive. Yuu prefers simple, one-on-one interactions and is uninterested in the intense character dynamics typical of Haruhi stories. His classmate Shirakawa, however, believes a real-life Haruhi is in their class and dubs a frequently absent girl by that name because she sits in the same seat as the character. Meanwhile, Yuu becomes involved with his childhood friend and others who are pursuing careers in the anime industry. A bonus chapter is included in Volume 3.
