A high school student with a fascination for twintails meets a girl from another dimension when creatures invade his town and claim all twintails as their own. These beings consume "attribute strength," a form of human spiritual energy. The girl gives him Tail Gear, a piece of imaginary armor activated by strong twintail attributes. Using it, he transforms into a female warrior named Tail Red to defend his world.
