A Zainichi Korean boy from Osaka, Kim Yong, becomes involved in a conflict with the nephew of a yakuza member. As a result, he is ordered to infiltrate a Korean village and steal an ID card. The villagers initially appear unremarkable, but hints suggest they are engaged in some hidden activity. Initially focused only on completing the task for payment, Kim Yong eventually grows close to the villagers and becomes involved in their objective: to establish a homeland in Osaka.
