A high school student named Yousuke resides in Miyakono until he unintentionally damages a shrine dedicated to the Guardian of the South, the phoenix. As a consequence, he sacrifices his future and receives the phoenix's bow. To restore his lost vitality and safeguard the people of Miyakono, he must fight creatures known as Kenzoku using the bow.
