Otogizoushi

In 972 A.D., Kyoto, the capital of ancient Japan, faces corruption, famine, and disease as selfish samurai and onmyoji pursue power. The Imperial Court sends Minamoto no Raiko, a renowned archer, to retrieve the legendary gem Magatama, believed to possess the power to save the world. Raiko becomes ill, so his youngest sister, Hikaru, secretly takes his place on the journey. She encounters various people and experiences numerous adventures in her quest for the gem.
