Otoko Yamome mo Hana wa Saku

A middle-aged salaryman named Uematsu is surprised when a part-time restaurant worker named Asahikawa seems to know his eating habits. After being promoted to department head, Uematsu expects a smoother life, but his wife soon leaves him, and the employees assigned to him prove to be unhelpful. In his 40s, he feels his energy and stamina fading and tries to avoid any added stress. However, he finds a strange sense of comfort around Asahikawa and begins to warm up to them. It becomes apparent that Asahikawa is interested in getting closer to Uematsu than he anticipated.
