Otouto no Omokage

In Showa 10, Akihiko, a boy aspiring to be a doctor, meets Hisao, a girl with a prosthetic hand, at a medical exhibition. Their unusual friendship develops as they meet repeatedly, but each encounter causes Hisao’s condition to worsen, with more of her body replaced by prosthetics. The story explores themes of humanity and self-determination through a dark and visually striking retro science fiction lens.
