Otto Carius: Doromamire no tora

A watercolor manga adaptation of Otto Carius's memoirs, focusing on his experiences as a German tank commander during World War II. Carius joined the 20th Panzer Division in 1941 and later transferred to the 502 Tiger battalion in 1943, where he saw action near Leningrad and in Estonia. The manga highlights his time in Estonia fighting the Soviet forces. In 1944, he was wounded and later commanded a Jagdtiger unit in the West before surrendering to American forces in 1945. In this series, all characters are depicted as pigs. It is subtitled "Mousou Nouto," which can mean "Fantasy Note," "wild or crazy idea," or "delusion." This differs from the earlier subtitle "Zassou Note" used in previous works by the same author in the same publication.
