Ou to Kisaki

A nation is governed by eight families with mythical origins, each possessing unique abilities known as "jutsu." The most powerful among them is selected to rule. One family, the Amaha, once caused turmoil by abandoning the capital, but peace was restored when a member of the Amaha family was taken as a hostage queen. Now, Amaha Awayuki has been chosen to marry the new king, Ichimine Naruya. Their union is purely political, with strict limitations—Awayuki is allowed to see Naruya only once a month and is forbidden from physical contact. She endures the arrangement, suppressing her emotions to fulfill her role. However, her ability to perceive distant sights and sounds leads her to secretly watch Naruya, gradually revealing hidden aspects of his character and stirring her curiosity.
