Ourou

A young, enthusiastic historian named Iba vanishes during a solo journey to explore the ancient Silk Road. A year later, his girlfriend, Kyoko, travels to the same region in search of answers about his disappearance. Upon arrival, she retrieves the charm she had given Iba for protection and is immediately pulled into a black vortex, losing consciousness. Kyoko awakens in an unfamiliar setting where she discovers Iba is alive but enslaved as a warrior under Genghis Khan in 13th-century Mongolia. When they are reunited, they face a series of harsh fates that prove even more challenging than their previous struggles.
