Mai Sasaki, living in Tokyo, was expected to die from an illness. Before her death, her grandmother gave her magical knowledge and abilities and sent her to another world. Recovered from her illness, Mai decides to make the most of her new life and opens a cafe named "Hideout" at the edge of the royal capital. Henry, a high-ranking civil servant at the castle, regularly visits Mai’s cafe, and appears to be hiding something.
