Horace controlled the Diamante Kingdom's operations using countless remote-controlled machine puppets known as Golems, relying on an extraordinary skill. After being fired by an ignorant noble, he began a relaxed journey to gather ore for his research. A female hero, who looked up to him, refused to let him go. She had prepared a home for him, supposedly to show gratitude, but it may have been to keep him close. A tomboyish female alchemist also joined, along with the eldest son of a marquis, who challenged Horace to a one-punch fight. Horace responded with a powerful, merciless punch. The story follows a laid-back, rough young man and his growing group of companions on their journey.
