Seki, a student who socializes with the school's more laid-back peers, is caught working a part-time job by Iwashiro, a top student. Though strangers, they end up in a conflict, during which Seki unintentionally causes Iwashiro to fall down stairs, resulting in a sprained ankle. Iwashiro then demands that Seki assist him, leading to the two individuals with contrasting dispositions being forced into spending time together.
