Ken's father builds a fully automated robot, which Ken tests with his cat, Mike. The robot crashes on "Pologon Island," where they find a floating rock that moves mid-air. Returning home, Ken shows it to his father, who identifies it as bird droppage. Later, Ken and Mike are attacked by Kappa who steal their bellybuttons. To retrieve them, they must defeat the Kappa in a baseball game. Ken assembles an odd team, including a baby and a wooden doll, using the magical bird poop to aid their efforts. Created early in Shigeru Mizuki's manga career, this comedy piece is a rare and sought-after work from the 1950s rental comic book era.
