Following the aftermath of *Seraph of the End: Catastrophe at Sixteen*, Guren Ichinose has broken a major taboo by resurrecting his friends, an act that has led to the near extinction of the human race. Now, only demons, children, and a few scattered humans remain, struggling against monstrous threats and ruthless vampires. In the wake of this devastation, survivors unite in an effort to rebuild. Guren, burdened by guilt and unable to confide in those around him, embarks on a solitary journey through the ruins of the world he helped destroy.
