Japan has the shortest average sleep time globally. Shinya Moroboshi, an unemployed man, lives a life of leisure despite this. One day, he discovers a "sleep selling app" on his phone. Though doubtful, he tries it and finds he can sell his sleep for money. The story follows the events that unfold from this unexpected opportunity.
