Painting Warriors
·繪戰師
During the early Song Dynasty, near the western frontier of the Tangut Empire—a key location on the Silk Road—intense battles took place. The Tangut warriors and an unusual western religious force clashed over a reported holy artifact. Amidst the conflicts, conspiracies, and religious tensions, the "untouchable war painter" Tao Hui moves through the battlefield, capturing only the unfiltered reality of the events unfolding.
