Palepoli

The creator of Palepoli, Furuya, had no prior knowledge of traditional manga formats when beginning the work, leading to a style that diverges significantly from typical manga. The series breaks away from the standard four-panel format, experimenting with structure in unconventional ways. A selection of 26 pages from Palepoli was published in Secret Comics Japan by VIZ Media on July 6, 2000.
