Chiba Tamao is pursued by the Yakuza due to his family's debt when he encounters Kurotengu, a man who claims he wants to "eat" him. During an attempt on Chiba's life, Kurotengu saves him and reveals himself to be a Tengu, a type of Japanese demon. A friend of Kurotengu's settles Tamao's debt with the Yakuza, but in return, Tamao must work with Kuro in a boy band. As he fulfills this obligation, he faces the ongoing danger of being targeted by other demons.
