Ikuo Kamii is a laid-back high school student currently staying in the apartment of his classmate, Shigeyuki Kitaoji. After Ikuo cancels a last-minute date with Kyoko, a girl from their school, Shigeyuki attempts to explain it away, though he is known for his flirtatious behavior. The story includes two one-shots: one titled *Usagi-koro no Maria* in Volume 1, and another titled *Natsu ga Yasashiku* in Volume 2.
