A 21-year-old named Ryu Yeon-seong is preparing to begin his mandatory military service in the ROK Army. Along with four others, he is assigned to a mountain police rescue unit based at Mt. Bukhan, a small mountain near Seoul. Initially unaware of the specifics, the group assumes the position will be relatively easy and views it as a favorable posting. However, upon arriving at the mountain, they quickly realize the challenges they face will be greater than they anticipated.
