Pentheus

Europa, the daughter of King Agenor of Phoenicia, is taken by Zeus as part of a scheme to defeat the Python. Her brother, Cadmus, searches for her and journeys to the farthest reaches of the world. His path is shaped by the entwined fates of gods and mortals, which continue to affect his family across generations. These divine and human conflicts eventually reach his grandson, Pentheus, whose actions challenge the legacy and values established by his ancestors.
