Persona 2: Tsumi To Batsu

Kazumi, who considered himself close to his ten-year friend Rihito, experiences a sudden change when Rihito vanishes during a trip to buy masks for a school event. After leaving school to search for him, Kazumi enters a new world when he encounters demons in a supposedly haunted abandoned factory. He eventually finds Rihito a week later, but his friend's personality has changed. Rihito claims Kazumi was always disliked and is surprised that Kazumi can see the demons. When attacked again, a mysterious entity emerges from Kazumi, defeating the demons. Kazumi begins to learn about a hidden aspect of his city, where demons and Personae—fighting creatures—exist. He is introduced to this world by three individuals living in the factory who also possess Personae.
