Picaro

A freelance writer named Jun Azumi travels to Osaka in 1984, just before the bubble economy. During this time, the largest unsolved case of the Showa era, the Ogiri Toa Incident, is being planned. Only the perpetrator and Azumi, who has come from the future, are aware of the upcoming event. The story centers on Azumi's efforts to uncover the true identity of the culprit and their reasons for committing the crime.
