Pietà

Two classmates, Sahoko and Rio, form a friendship. Rio experiences depression and self-harm, and feels unloved by her father, stepmother, and stepbrother. Sahoko provides her with emotional support. Sahoko lives with her aunt and appears to have a complicated relationship with her own parents. There are hints that the two may have known each other in the distant past.
