Planet Girl

A science fiction story begins with the arrival of a girl from a distant star. Satetsu is an engineer at a spaceship shipyard and is trying to uncover the truth behind his father's death, which occurred during a planetary mission fifteen years earlier. He lives with Maki and her sisters, whom he met during junior high, while continuing experiments to recreate his father's accident. When a damaged work boat, believed to be part of his father's spacecraft, is recovered, an alien named Sora is found inside. Satetsu decides to send her to the planet where his father perished.
