A girl named Kaguya has no memory of her early life, only that she was discovered wandering and hurt before being adopted. She starts having dreams about a boy she doesn't recognize, and one night he appears in her room and takes her to another place. She is brought to a distant world where she discovers the existence of multiple Earths. Soon, all but the one she selects will be erased.
