A legend tells of a temple built by the People of the Water, hidden in the ocean and protected by a secret mechanism. This temple, known as the Sea Temple, is said to hold the Sea Crown, a treasure no one has yet seen. Ash and Pikachu discover the legend and meet Jackie, a Pokémon Ranger tasked with protecting a Manaphy egg and locating the temple. Meanwhile, a villain named the Phantom seeks the Sea Crown to gain world domination and targets the Manaphy egg as part of his plan. The story explores the connection between the Sea Crown and Manaphy’s mysterious power, and whether Ash can assist Jackie in completing his mission.
